Primordium is the Latin word of origin of Universe; it also suggests the origin of creative process. For me, it is a long-term investigation into the elemental origins of form.

In Primordium, Light, Matter and Water are observed not as symbols but as physical phenomena.
Beginning with Galaxies - - images born from macrophotographic observations through which cosmic structures emerge - -  the research continued along different paths: Mass & Energy, observing marine energies, and Defrost, exploring the transformations of water and life in a changing climate.

Across film and digital photography, I trace how matter organizes itself — from the vast to the minute — revealing recurring patterns of force and structure.
