Big Bang

As many of  my most recent visual art projects (2024-2025) Big Bang (2025) revolve around what many consider “The Problem” of climate change, regardless of its possible causes, and the key element of our life, water

Big Bang is a photographic series developed on an island, where water becomes both subject and process.

The works explore moments of collision and transformation — where energy, matter and movement converge, dissolve and re-form.

Rather than referencing a specific landscape, the images operate at the edge between the physical and the elemental, allowing multiple readings across scientific, philosophical and cultural perspectives.

The relationship between the works is based on balance: expansion and absorption, surface and depth, presence and absence.

Scale plays a crucial role, as the images shift meaning in relation to the space they inhabit.
