Inter-human works and The Primordial Trilogy
After many years devoted mainly to humanistic photography and the observation of human relationships - - "Inter-human" works - - , my attention gradually shifted also toward the elemental forces of nature: my "Intra-human " work explores the intimate relationship between human beings, landscape, and image.
The environment is not a backdrop, but an active presence—an organism with which we share a common condition. The Earth itself is one of us, simply the largest.
At the same time, the image tends to replace the world it represents. My research moves between belonging and substitution. More about this in the Statement and in the Bio.
