It represents to me a very personal experience of the birth and the flow of life.

AP is intimate territorial almost contemplative:  the dark green of the water is depth the pink of the flower is vulnerability the yellow leaves are time the brown is sediment. African Pool is not a formal exercise. It is an emotional micro-ecosystem.

It's obviously, first and foremost, a joyful visual and physical immersion in my own prenatal era. This is why the images with dark, deep water are the most moving. But it's also, secondly, a joy for life after birth, with clearer water, brighter colors, and enveloped in the explosions of vegetation around me.
