No, it wasn't an emulation, nor even a fortunately successful attempt to create abstract expressionist photographs reminiscent of Jackson Pollack's paintings. It was the expression (no pun intended) of my internal vision, which coincides with Pollack's. It's no coincidence that the only two paintings I've made in the last eight years can be defined as abstract expressionism, an artistic movement now in the distant past, but one that retains powerful remnants within my vision.
